This black Gibson "Lucille" style electric guitar with white trim and mother of pearl neck was given to President Clinton by John Sykes, president of the cable network VH1, during a commercial break at VH1's Concert of the Century on October 23, 1999. It is signed by concert performers B. B. King, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Ethridge, N'Sync, Eric Clapton, Garth Brooks, Lenny Kravitz, John Fogerty, Gloria Estefan, and John Mellencamp. It was later placed on display in the Music Room at the White House.
